I love my kids...just thinking of them makes me happy! I miss them!

Happy Valentine's Day!

When I was a little girl, I remember getting these and you could actually read the words stamped on them.  These days they are a blur.  Sometimes you can't even read the sentiment.  The orange ones have always been my favorite. 

Today was a fun day.  I woke up to roses on the counter, three red ones to be exact.  They were carefully placed in the container I make my protein shakes in.  I guess my sweetheart couldn't find a vase to put them in.  (probably because I gave them all away when we moved)   We went to Applebee's for lunch...my treat! 

Phone calls and texts with lots of love were aplenty today.  I loved that...it really made my day!  I love my kids....they are the best!!!   One thing that made me laugh was that Lisa told me that Brett put his Valentine monkey in a seatbelt so that he would be safe while his mom was driving!  
Kids do and say the funniest things! 

Diane's family came through St. George on their way to San Diego for Chase's soccer tournament.
We all ate at the Black Bear Restaurant.  It was a fun evening!

Kara and Ryan's day was perfect! They are such a beautiful couple!

Breaking Dawn

Brooke and I went to see Breaking Dawn 1 this weekend.  

I must say, I was taken aback by the Vampire-isms and the almost R rated scenes.  

It was entertaining and Brooke loved it!  

Brooke kept saying "close your eyes, Grandma,

and I'll tell you when you can open them again".
